Trav's New Best Friend

Overjoyed!!!!!!
I just had to post that I am super excited for the following reasons:
1. Lisa has agreed to let HailEy come out for Christmas!!
What this means you may ask?!?
A. Travis gets to be with Hailey for Christmas!! Tons of presents
under the tree on X-mas morning..WOOHOOO
B. We get to decorate the tree w/ Hailey (I've already found adorable
ornaments (pre-teen "princess" and Hanna Montana and High School
Musical) :)
C. My parents get to buy for a 10 yr old! My Mom LOVES Hailey!
When Hailey left CT last time she made Hailey a little goodie back pack of
all sorts of stuff, from crafts to candy! She is SOOOO excited! And my Dad,
well, all I can say is that he ADORES Hailey; her vibrant spirt, her grateful
heart,and well; her love for video games :) My father is all
about giving the gift of technology :)
2. We are VERY VERY close to getting Bob and Shannon (Mom and Dad) to fly out for X-mas. As it stands now, my family has already been informed and have gotten TONS (ask Travis, he's been CC'd on every e-mail) of e-mails saying how they can't wait to meet them!!!
So, I guess it's only fitting to ask all of the family, HOW ABOUT CHRISTMAS IN NEW ENGLAND?!?!?!?!? TICKETS ARE STILL SOMEWHAT REASONABLE--YOU CAN ARE STAY AT OUR HOUSE!!!!! well, it may be snug--but, you know what we mean :)

Ok, so we have not posted in a while...we have lost our camera cord so we can't download pictures~~ What is a blog without pictures!!!
Christmas is coming, and I love the season!! Family gatherings and great memories!! This year we are trying...TRYING...to convice Mom and Dad to fly out to the east coast with Hailey to spend the holiday's with us... I hope it happens!! I will miss the family Christmas eve with everyone and I am sure you will all miss me and coolgirl, but we will be out there soon. If they decide not to come then we will be flying out there the day after Christmas for a few days to visit...I hate to say it, but I hope they come out here....I have never had mom and dad visit me away from Oregon...wish us luck!!

A Real Travesty (Literally)
Considering that all that read this blog probably already know that I was in the US Army as a UH-60 Black Hawk crew chief, so needless to say when I walked into my nephew's (M
ason) room I was excited to see a poster reflecting military aircraft. My excitement sooned turned into sorrow as I notice that there were no, and I mean NO, Sikorsky more specifically H-60 Aircraft on his poster. So I feel I must represent my past and my passion here......These are a few pictures of a REAL helicopter, not a Bell or MD wanna be helicopter....... There may even be a picture a gooding looking guy for all the ladies out there.....ENJOY!!!! And don't worry, I will be sending Mason some posters!!!!
